Celebrating Spirit on Samhain: An Intuitive Exploration of Nature

Samhain, or All Souls Night, is both the end and the beginning of the Celtic year. It is a time to celebrate the world of spirit, honor the mystery of the unseen realms, a time to vision, dream, and connect to your own inner wisdom. On this day, according to Celtic folklore, the veil between worlds is thinner. We'll celebrate through meditation, gathering in circle, and connecting to the natural world around us. 

The afternoon will include a grounding ritual, discovering personal totems in nature, an autumnal meditation to deepen into our own interal landscape, and a ritual to deepen into our own soul self as an exploration of the world of spirit. We'll conclude with a boundary clearing and grounding practice. 

This celebration is hosted by Sarah Wilkinson of Art of Self Worth and Saugerties Yoga & Samantha Halitzer of Forest Symphony. 

Directions & Info:

We'll meet by the pavilion at Seamon's Park (5 Malden Ave) in Saugerties. Feel free to park on the street or in the small parking area (follow the signs). Please avoid parking on the grass if you park inside the park instead of on the street. Either place that you park, you'll walk up to the top of the hill. You’ll find us by the pavilion.

Please wear warm clothes, so you're comfortable. You may want to bring a mug and a blanket to sit on, though we'll supply these items if you don't bring your own. There is a port-a-potty down by the playground, but we recommend using the facilities before you leave home for comfort.
